Distance from where we are staying to Exbury gardens and Furzey gardens.

We will be staying at Sandy Balls and would like to visit Exbury and Furzey if they are close by. Thanks, maybe you could suggest other similar attractions?

Hello, Furzey Gardens Minstead SO43 7FT (sat nav) is approx 14 miles from Exbury (SO45 1AZ sat nav) you may want to spend a day at each as Exbury has a little railway to go round as well. You could take the New Forest Tour Bus to Exbury and make a day of it at Lepe as well - you'd need good weather. Look at my New Forest Tour review for timetables and prices and Lepe review to see what is there. The Tour bus goes straight through Sandy Balls to pick up.
Beaulieu is another fantastic day out and offers an awful lot for your admission charge including the Motor Museum and James Bond cars etc. You can also get here by the Tour bus too.
Bucklers Hard is another option to visit if you like maritime history (Nelson) and a lovely little riverside setting (and boat trip too if you wanted - again look at my review for details)
If the weather is poor Beaulieu is a good bet as you can be indoors for more exhibits etc but they have said next week may be another heatwave in which case I'd say get the bus and go upstairs on the open top!
If you use the Tour Bus you'll get a bit of discount into some of these venues too.
