Mindful tree walks have been an idea I've been thinking of for a while. I belong to a meditation group and we discuss and enjoy hours of exploration through many different areas of our waking lives. How does our mind work? Who are we? How important is nature to us?
I walk daily in the New Forest and on one particular walk I was astounded by the beauty and age but also the connectedness of the trees I was seeing. I felt peace but also the power of these wonderful examples of nature's beauty.
I felt it would be a great idea to combine my meditation knowledge I was acquiring with a walk amongst just some of these magnificent trees.
